Moon Garden Homestay is located at about 60km from Hanoi City. 2-Day-1-Night Moon Garden Homestay Tour gives you the chance to discover North Vietnam Rural Life Style with the visit to Ky Son and Duong Lam Villages where you will bike through rice fields; participate to farming works; visit ancient houses, temples and pagodas; take part to cooking classes; enjoy medicinal herbs spa and so on.
08h00: Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer to Ky Son Village at about 60km from Hanoi City.
10h00: Arrive at Moon Garden homestay in Ky Son Village. Welcome drink with local fresh green tea. Free time for discovering Moon Garden Homestay and Ky Son Village by yourself (local market, kindergarten)
11h00: Cooking class at Moon Garden.
12h30: Enjoy the home hosted lunch.
13h30: Hand Spa – Enjoy having your fingers dipped in a fragrant lime bowl and the traditional herbal hand massage. Then, free time for relaxing or further conversation with the host family about local snacks, sharing cultures, and learning about traditional customs. If you want to learn Vietnamese, one of the family members can teach you.
15h00: You can have choice of a short ride of 6km or a long ride 12km round trip
18h00: Return to the Moon Garden for happy hour. While waiting for your steam bath to be prepared, you can enjoy our local drink and taste some of the local products such as maize, sweet potatoes, cassava peanuts (depending on season) or some traditional desserts.
18h30: Traditional, refreshing steam bath with fragrant herbs (lemon grass, pomelo leaves, holy basil leaves)
19h15: Observe the evening Buddha worship
19h30: Dinner, then enjoy your foot bath in warm water with ginger, salt and mugwort medicinal herbs before bedtime, which brings you a deeper sleep.
07h00: Joining Yi Jin Jing traditional exercises.
08h30: Walking around Ky Son Village for further discovery of countryside, interacting with the locals to learn about their daily life and farming. Visit the villager’s bee house. Or (if required) you can help with plowing or transplanting seedlings, harvesting rice (or cassava, corn, sweet potatoes, cucumber…). You can visit kindergarten (closed on Sat, Sun and Holidays) and go to the village market, then back to Moon Garden.
13h30: Free time, you can make yourself at home relaxing on the hammock in the garden, taking pictures with Vietnamese traditional cloths and chatting with people or further discovery of the Ky Son village and around until your departure time back to Hanoi. End of Moon Garden Homestay Tour.
